For those of you who don't know, I am a social media influencer that creates content on multiple platforms. Primarily YouTube, but I also have a presence on TikTok, Instagram and Twitch.
Through my social media profiles, I've been able to work with several different brands but the one partnership that has opened up so many doors for me is my current relationship with e.l.f. cosmetics. Back in May, e.l.f. cosmetics held a competition to bring in new faces into their brand ambassador program on Twitch. Participants had to create a TikTok video showcasing their makeup skills and their love for video games, a task that I was born to do. Needless to say, I was one of six winners who is now representing e.l.f. cosmetics on their e.l.f. yeah profile. Fast forward... Back in October, I was invited to be a part of the TikTok Culture Driver campaign that featured content creators who were paving the way on the platform and the brands that worked with these creators. I was contacted a little over a week prior to the shoot to see if I was available and I jumped on the opportunity because I knew this would be big! The shoot was happening during the same week that I started my new job, but thankfully my manager was flexible. During the shoot I got to meet the Chief Creative Office of e.l.f and together we had our photos taken, voices recorded, and we made a TikTok together (obviously). One of the things I vividly remember was getting the best manicure I've ever received in my life while getting my makeup done. The manicurist was working around my makeup artist and despite not having all the equipment normally used during a manicure, my nails looked flawless and lasted a lot longer than usual. I wish I had her card... The campaign was so much fun and I really hope I get the opportunity to work at this level again! And after meeting the CCO of e.l.f. -- I was invited to visit their headquarters in lower Manhattan which was pretty cool! I left with three bags filled with makeup! I officially have more make-up than I'll ever need. If you're interested in learning more about the campaign you can check it out here: https://tiktokculturedrivers.com/elf
